Netflix Orders Animated Series ‘Hoops’

10-Episodes Ordered for 2019

Netflix has placed a 10-episode order for an animated series from 20th Century Fox Television called “Hoops,” which centers around a hot-headed, foul-mouthed high school basketball coach who thinks turning around his God-awful team will take him to the “big leagues.” The voice cast will be led by Jake Johnson (“New Girl,” ” BoJack Horseman”), who will voice the character of Coach Ben Hopkin.

Ben Hoffman is the creator, writer and executive producer of “Hoops,” while Bento Box (“Bob’s Burgers”) is the animation house.
