Netflix has announced a third season renewal for Emmy-winning Chuck Lorre comedy “The Kominsky Method,” with an unconfirmed number of new episodes for what is now its final season. Sixteen episodes were production in the first two seasons.
The series follows Douglas as Sandy Kominsky, an aging former actor-turned-acting coach and his agent and friend Norman Newlander (Alan Arkin). In season two, which was available for streaming in October 2019, they continued to navigate their later years in Los Angeles, with Kominsky deals with health issues as well as his daughter’s new boyfriend, played by Paul Reiser, and Newlander struggling to get through life without his beloved wife (Susan Sullivan).
Jane Seymour, Sarah Baker, Nancy Travis and Lisa Edelstein also star. It is unclear when production on the now final third season of “The Kominsky Method” will begin.
