Netflix Orders ‘Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later’

Upcoming TV Show Set in 2001

Netflix has ordered eight episodes of a half-hour series called “Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later” for 2017. Based on 2001 theatrical “American Hot Wax” and set in 1991. the focus is on what happened to the favorite campers and counselors one decade after the original film. The series will be written by Michael Showalter and David Wain and Wain will direct. Executive Producers for “Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later” are Michael Showalter, David Wain, Peter Principato, Jonathan Stern and Howard Bernstein.
