Netflix Pulls Chris D’Elia, Bryan Callen Prank Show

Move a Result of Allegations of Sexual Misconduct Against D'Elia

Netflix has scrapped plans for a non-scripted prank show featuring comedians Chris D’Elia (“Undateable”) and Bryan Callen following accusations of sexual misconduct against D’Elia. Multiple woman last month accused D’Elia of sexually harassing them, including when they were underage.

D’Elia denied all accusations, saying he “never knowingly pursued” underage women and that all his relationships have been “legal and consensual.” He was subsequently dropped by his agency, CAA.

When the allegations surfaced, D’Elia had just closed a deal with Netflix to make a show with fellow comedian Bryan Callen that would focus on the relationship between the two comics and their affinity for pulling high jinks, according to sources familiar with the deal. But the show had yet to go into production.
