Netflix has greenlit animated “Castlevania” for a fourth season less than one month after its current third season opened. Debuting on July 7, 2017, the series was originally planned as a film developed by producer Kevin Kolde and his company Project 51. Ultimately, the first two seasons adapted the 1989 entry “Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse” and followed Trevor Belmont, Alucard and Sypha Belnades as they defended the nation of Wallachia from Dracula and his minions.
The number of new episodes of “Castlevania” has not been confirmed, but the current season order is for 10. There is no word on where the story will go from season three.
