Netflix Renews Comedy ‘The Upshaws’ for Season 2

Sixteen New Episodes Ordered

Six weeks after launching and Netflix has greenlit a second season of comedy “The Upshaws.” The order is for 16 new episodes, which is an increase from six in season one. From Regina Hicks and Wanda Sykes, “The Upshaws” features a working-class Black family in Indiana strives for a better life and a happy home while juggling everyday struggles in this comedy series.

The cast includes Mike Epps (Bennie Upshaw), Wanda Sykes (Lucretia Turner), Kim Fields (Regina Upshaw), Page Kennedy (Duck), Diamond Lyons (Kelvin Upshaw), Khali Spraggins (Aaliyah Upshaw), Jermelle Simon (Bernard Upshaw), Gabrielle Dennis (Tasha Lewis), and Journey Christine (Maya Upshaw).
