Netflix Renews ‘The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ Through Season 4

Sixteen Additional Episodes Ordered

“The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” which was initially picked up with a two-season, 20-episode order, has received an additional 16-episode continuation. The renewal is being billed as “parts three and four,” and it arrives ahead of the second-season return on April 5. The additional two season pick-up will be broken out in eight episode seasons.

Based on the Archie comic book series of the same name, “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” is centered on the Sabrina Spellman character, played by Kiernan Shipka. Originally in development during September 2017 at The CW as a companion to “Riverdale,” the project was moved to Netflix with a straight-to-series order. Filming takes place in Vancouver, British Columbia.
