Netflix to Develop Live Action ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Series with Ubisoft

Multiple Shows Exploring the Time-Hopping Saga Are in the Works

Ubisoft and Netflix announced that a live-action “Assassin’s Creed” series is officially in development. The TV show does not currently have a title or a showrunner, but Ubisoft Film & Television head Jason Altman and director Danielle Kreinik will executive produce the project. The streaming service has signed a deal with Ubisoft for multiple shows that explore the time-hopping saga. These include a “live-action epic” and “animated and anime adaptations.”

Fans of “Assassin’s Creed,” meanwhile, are about to get a new chapter of the game series with Valhalla, which is due on November 10th.
