  1. From NBC

    Sunday Primetime Ratings:

Regarding this morning’s Nielsens, note that the fast-affiliate ratings that came in at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT are not time zone-adjusted and are subject to change for live sports coverage.

In these preliminary results, NBC is currently #2 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key adult-male demos in the fast-affiliate ratings.

In metered-market results, which are time zone-adjusted, NBC Sports coverage of last night’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Race from Darlington, S.C., averaged a 2.6 rating, 5 share in metered-market households from 7:30-10:30 p.m. ET. NBC ranked #2 for the night in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters.

NOTE: All ratings are “live plus same day” from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

  2. The Texas-Notre Dame ratings are insanely huge just like Saturday’s game even though that was a blowout. Even though this game was moved to Sunday back in the spring or summer I believe, ABC should do a Sunday primetime game on Labor Day weekend for now on since the NFL always starts the weekend after Labor Day anyways.

Football is King! NFL is back on Thursday and Sunday this week. GO LIONS!
