One More Episode Ordered for ‘Roseanne’ Revival on ABC

Nine Episodes in Total Ordered

ABC has added an additional episode to the upcoming revival of sitcom “Roseanne,” bringing the total to nine. Five episodes have already been shot, featuring Roseanne, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman and Lecy Goranson reprising their roles. Sarah Chalke, who replaced Lecy Goranson as Becky twice in the original series is also returning, but in a different role. And no specific launch date for “Roseanne” has been announced yet.

As for John Goodman’s character, Dan Conner, dying in the original sitcom, that will be completely ignored. Life goes on for the Conners!
