Paramount+ Eyes ‘Frasier’ Sequel

Former multi-Emmy Award winning NBC sitcom “Frasier”, which was spun-off from “Cheers” and aired from 1993 to 2004, is in talks to be revived by streamer Paramount+. Series star Kelsey Grammer has been trying to get the project off the ground for years, and this potential sequel from CBS Studios would also include original stars David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves and Peri Gilpin. John Mahoney, who played Martin Crane, passed away in 2018. There is no word of the new potential setting and storylines.

“Frasier” set a record for the most Emmy Awards won by a scripted series at the time, 37, which included five consecutive Emmys for Outstanding Comedy Series.
