‘Parasite’ Limited Series in the Works at HBO

Potential Drama Based on the Golden Globe Winning Theatrical

Golden Globe winning Korean theatrical “Parasite,” which focuses on the poverty-stricken Kim family and their wealthy employers, the Park family, is being developed as a limited series for HBO. “Parasite” writer/director Boon Joon-ho will be teaming up with Adam McKay, who is known for his work on the cable net’s critically acclaimed “Succession.”

It has yet to be revealed if the potential HBO series will be a sequel or a prequel to “Parasite,” or a totally unrelated story.
