Puerto Banús beaches have received the blue flag award over the years for their cleanliness, quality, and protection of the surrounding environment.

Playa Nueva Andalucia, Playa Puerto Banus (also known as Playa de Levante), and Playa del Rio Verde are the three beaches popular in Puerto Banus.

When you buy properties for sale Puerto Banus, you will likely find a beach that meets your preferences because the three beaches are very dissimilar.

Playa Puerto Banús

Just to the southeast of this beautiful port, playa Puerto banus may be found between the Playa Rio Verde and the Puerto Banus Marina complex. It also goes by the name Playa de Levante.

Playa Puerto Bans has fine sand, is just over 1 km long, and is 50 m wide. A breakwater was built to protect the cove. Families with young children frequent the area frequently since the water is peaceful, shallow, and warm.

With lifeguards on duty all summer long, the beach is well-equipped with showers, public restrooms, and lots of sun beds and hammocks for hire. There are a number of chiringuitos as well, but the upscale La Pesquera beach restaurant is the most well-known.

Playa Nueva Andalucia

The Nueva Andalucia beach is the name of the length of a variety of small connected beaches facing Nueva Andalucia, to the west of Puerto Banus, a famous destination for celebrities, and up to the Guadaiza river.

Los Espigones, or the breakwaters, refers to the numerous breakwaters that have created some lovely bays along the main stretch of beach. During summer break, this beach is so crowded that parking is nearly impossible. Because La Sala Beach Club is located there, this beach is highly well-liked by young people.

Playa Río Verde

Playa Rio Verde is located next to the Rio Verde, just east of Puerto Banus. To get to the beach from Puerto Banus, you have to cross the river on a chic wooden footbridge while keeping an eye out for water birds in the river’s reeds.

The European Union has consistently given “Playa Rio Verde” the Blue Flag for its exceptional facilities and high standards of cleanliness. However, this most likely refers to the Playa Puerto Banus, which is presently located on the other side of the River.

Although there is street parking close to the beach, it can be challenging during the summer because it gets very crowded.
