Saturday Final Nationals: ‘My Christmas Dream’ on Hallmark Rises More Than One-Quarter from Year-Ago Movie

CBS and ABC shared Saturday leadership. CBS, with an “NCIS” rerun and two hours of newsmagazine “48 Hours”, led in total viewers (4.29 million) while ABC, with Oklahoma-West Virginia on “Saturday Night Football”, led in all key demos.

The Hallmark film “My Christmas Dream”, starring Danica McKellar (“The Wonder Years”) and Diedre Hall (“Days of Our Lives”), was the most-watched cable telecast in prime time and was runner-up only to the next night’s “Walking Dead” episode for top prime time cable shows of the weekend with 4.45 million viewers. This marked a 27 percent increase from the year-ago Saturday movie on Hallmark, “Northpole: Open for Christmas” (3.79 million, 11/21/15).
