Saturday Final Nationals: ‘O.J.: Made in America’ Debut on ABC Matches Best Adults 18-49 Delivery for a Non-Live Saturday Program in Five Months

CBS and ABC shared victory a low-rated Saturday night overall. CBS led in total viewers (3.78 million) while ABC won in all key demos.

Tripling its lead-in among Adults 18-49 at 9pm, ABC’s premiere airing of O.J.: Made in America ranked #1 among its major network competition in all 4 half-hours of its 2-hour time slot to rank as Saturday’s highest-rated non-sports TV program. It was also Saturday’s top-rated non-sports program in adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and across all key male demos (M18-34/M18-49/M25-54).

Excluding only sporting events and political debates, “O.J.: Made in America” tied as the highest-rated Saturday broadcast TV program in the last 5 months among adults 18-49 – since Jan. 16, 2016. In addition, it matched ABC’s best adults 18-49 delivery in the 2-hour time period since December, excluding sporting events and political debates – since December 12, 2015.
