Saturday Final Nationals: ‘The Thundermans’ on Nickelodeon Tops Cable Prime Time in Total Viewers and Teens

CBS won Saturday night among total viewers (3.07 million). Three hours of “The Big Bang Theory” reruns put TBS on top from 8-11 p.m. among adults 18-49 (0.53 rating) and adults 25-54 (0.67 rating). Adult Swim topped prime time among adults 18-34 (approx. 0.44 rating).

The Nickelodeon family sitcom “The Thundermans” at 8-9 p.m. was cable’s most-watched telecast of the day on Saturday, June 24. In prime time, the show was No. 1 among teens 12-17 (1.31 rating), males 12-17 (1.16 rating), females 12-34 (0.78 rating) and females 18-34 (0.55 rating). It was the series’ most-watched telecast since Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016.

For the entire week of June 19-25, 2017 in Total Day (8 p.m. to 5:59 a.m.), Adult Swim is up +0.4 percent in viewership (0.831 million vs. 0.828 million) and up +2 percent among Adults 18-49 (487,000 vs. 478,000) from one week earlier; the network is also down -22 percent in viewership (0.831 million vs. 1.065 million) and down -22 percent among Adults 18-49 (487,000 vs. 621,000) from the same week one year ago (June 20-26, 2016).
