Season Two Start for Spectrum Drama ‘L.A.’s Finest’ Delayed

The First Three Episodes From the Sophomore Season Was Supposed to Be Available for Streaming Yesterday

Season two of Spectrum On Demand drama “L.A.’s Finest,” which was supposed to open yesterday with three episodes available for streaming, has been pushed to an as-yet-specified later date in 2020, The news comes amidst weeks of nation- and worldwide protests against the officer-involved deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor — civil unrest that has been met by, in numerous instances, police violence that has in turn sparked calls for law enforcement reform.

“L.A.’s Finest” is a spinoff of the “Bad Boys” film franchise. The series premiered in May 2019 and stars Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba as LAPD officers. The first season of the crime drama will be broadcast on Fox this fall.
