Showtime has picked up a fourth season of drama “Billions,” with an unconfirmed number of new episodes for 2018-19. Debuting on Jan. 17, 2016 and starring Paul Giamatti and Damien Lewis, the series series is loosely based on the activities of crusading federal prosecutor of financial crimes Preet Bharara, the former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York and his legal battles with hedge fund manager Steve Cohen of S.A.C. Capital Advisors.
The third season of “Billions” currently airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET, and will move to 9 p.m. ET starting next Sunday, May 6 to anchor the night and serve as the lead-in for the season two premiere of “I’m Dying Up Here.”
