‘SNL’: Guy Who Just Bought a Boat Welcomes New Ferry Owners Pete Davidson and Colin Jost

During the “Weekend Update” portion of the January 22, 2022 edition of NBC’s “SNL” (“Saturday Night Live“), Alex Moffat‘s recurring “guy who just bought a boat” character returned to the news desk just in time. This past week, “SNL” cast members Pete Davidson — a Staten Island resident — and Colin Jost. teamed up with a New York club owner to purchase a decommissioned Staten Island ferry boat. Reports claim they’ll turn their new purchase in to a comedy club.

The “guy who just bought a boat” spoke about tailgating, in the only way he does it: in a cringey, perverted manner.
