‘SNL’: Meet Mellen — Daytime’s Newest Sensation

In a parody commercial on the October 23, 2021 edition of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” it was mentioned that so many daytime talk shows only cater to women. But a new host is taking TV by storm, targeting male audiences: Mellen (Jason Sudeikis), the male version of Ellen DeGeneres. One week prior, he was just a fan of Barstool Sports and a high volume poster in the 4chan chat rooms. But he then dyed his hair blonde and legally changed his name to Mellen.
