During the “Weekend Update” portion of the January 29, 2022 edition of NBC’s “SNL” (“Saturday Night Live“), Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning appeared as a guest on the night prior to the NFL Conference Championships.
While anchor Colin Jost asked Manning of his thoughts about the Divisional Playoffs from the previous weekend, Manning instead dissected the details of the comedy “Emily in Paris.”
Even when the subject of Tom Brady’s potential retirement was brought up, Manning said “If it were me, I probably would retire to give me more time to watch ‘Emily in Paris’.”
At the end, Jost presumed that Manning believed that the Netflix show’s season two was better than season one. Manning replied, “Wait, there’s a season one?”
