Sofia Vergara Named Fourth Judge on ‘America’s Got Talent’

New Edition to Debut This Summer Following Quiet 'AGT: Champions' Edition

Soon-to-be former “Modern Family” star Sophia Vergara will be named the fourth judge on the upcoming summer edition of “America’s Got Talent” on NBC. “I’m so happy to join my new family on “America’s Got Talent,” she said.. “This is a new and exciting next chapter for me and I’m extremely proud to be the first Latin judge on the show.”

Heidi Klum will also return as a judge for the upcoming season, along with HowiMandel, Simon Cowell and Terry Crews as host. Klum previously served as a judge on six seasons of “AGT” before her exit. She recently returned to serve as a judge for “America’s Got Talent: The Champions.”
