Spike Renews ‘Bar Rescue’ for Season Five

Cable Net Also Greenlights Late Night Talk Show Pilot Hosted by 'Bar Rescue's' Jon Taffer

Spike has greenlit 30 new episodes of “Bar Rescue,” taking it into season five. “Bar Rescue,” which returns on August 7, follows bar and nightlife expert Jon Taffer across the country as he helps to give failing establishments one last chance to transform themselves into profitable businesses. The fifth season will take Taffer to bars in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Palm Springs, Seattle, and additional cities across the country.

Additionally, Spike has ordered 10 more “Back to the Bar” specials and an untitled, late night talk show pilot from Taffer, who will also executive produce. The specials will continue to revisit bars that were featured on previous episodes of “Bar Rescue.”

Earlier this year, Spike ordered another talk show for 2017, “Adam Carolla and Friends Builds Stuff Live,” a live carpentry comedy series from the team behind “The Talking Dead.”
