Spike TV Orders ‘Ink Master: Angels’

Ten Initial Episodes Ordered

Spike TV is expanding its “Ink Master” franchise into new competition series “Ink Master: Angels,” with an order for 10 episodes. The series will feature four of the top female competitors in season eight of “Ink Master” — Ryan Ashley, Kelly Doty, Nikki Simpson and Gia Rose — as they travel the country and go head to head with some of America’s most talented tattoo artists. Competitors will face a variety of tattoo-based challenges to see who has what it takes to beat the “Angels” and earn a spot on Season 10 of “Ink Master” (premiering on Paramount Network in 2018). Both series are produced by Truly Original.

“Ink Master: Angels” will premiere in the fall of 2017 following the culmination of “Ink Master” season nine, which premieres Tuesday, June 6, along with new episodes of spinoff series “Ink Master: Redemption.” “Ink Master,” “Ink Master: Angels” and “Ink Master: Redemption” are produced for Spike by Truly Original (“Swamp People,” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” “Vanity Fair Confidential”) with Glenda Hersh, Steven Weinstock and Andrea Richter serving as executive producers. Truly Original is a subsidiary of Endemol Shine North America.
