Sundance Now Renews ‘Riviera’ for Season 2

Number of New Episodes Ordered Not Confirmed

Sundance Now, the streaming service from AMC Networks, has greenlit crime drama “Riviera” for a second season. The series, which is currently shooting on location in Nice, will be available to stream on Sundance Now in 2019. 

Joining the cast for season two is Alex Lanipekun (“Homeland”),  Will Arnett (“Arrested Development”), Juliet Stevenson (Truly, Madly, Deeply), Poppy Delevingne (Kingsman: The Golden Circle), Jack Fox (“Dracula”), and Grégory Fitoussi (World War Z).  They will join returning cast members Julia Stiles, Lena Olin, Roxane Duran and Dimitri Leonidas.

Set in the French Riviera, the series follows Georgina Clios (Julia Stiles), a midwestern art curator whose life is turned upside down after the death of her billionaire husband Constantine Clios in a yacht accident. Georgina becomes immersed in a world of lies, double-dealing and crime, as she seeks to uncover the truth about her husband’s passing.
