Sunday Final Nationals: Indians-Yankees on FS1 Sees Huge Gains on Recent Sunday Night Division Series Game Threes

NBC again won Sunday prime time with “Sunday Night Football”. However, the Kansas City Chiefs at the Houston Texans (16.53 million viewers) actually was down 1 percent in total viewers from the year-ago SNF game (16.62 million for New York Giants at Green Bay Packers from Oct. 9, 2016) that had aired opposite a presidential debate.

Game 3 of the “American League Division Series” between the Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees averaged 5.29 million viewers, increases of 150 percent from the year-ago ALDS Game 3 (Toronto Blue Jays-Texas Rangers on TBS: 2.12 million viewers from Oct. 9, 2016) and 123 percent from two years ago (Texas Rangers-Toronto Blue Jays on FS1: 2.37 million viewers from Oct. 11, 2015). Among adults 18-49 ratings. Indians-Yankees (1.41 rating) was up 147 percent from last year (Toronto-Texas 0.57 rating) and up 99 percent from two years ago (Texas-Toronto 0.71 rating).
