CBS and NBC shared Sunday night honors. CBS led in total viewers (7.96 million) while NBC, with its brand-new mid-season lineup for Sundays, led in all key demos.
Helping NBC the most in winning Sunday prime time’s demos — this, their sixth victory in seven nights — was the return of the popular kid talent showcase “Little Big Shots.” The 8 p.m. telecast, hosted by Steve Harvey, was the most-watched telecast in all of television on the night, which had also featured usual ratings-earners “60 Minutes” (CBS) and “The Walking Dead” (AMC). As for the zombie drama, it was its least-watched Sunday night telecast since Nov. 18, 2012.
