Sunday Overnights: CBS Leads; ABC is the Network to Beat in Adults 18-49

Ratings Breakdown:
An encore telecast of newsmagazine “60 Minutes” led CBS to modest Sunday overnight victory, with a 10 percent advantage over second-place ABC. But ABC is the network to beat in adults 18-49 thanks to its 8-11 p.m. game show rotation of “Celebrity Family Feud” (3.6 rating/7 share in households at 8 p.m.), “The $100,000 Pyramid” (3.4/ 6 at 9 p.m.) and “To Tell the Truth” (2.8/ 5 at 10 p.m.). All three game shows led their time periods in the overnight households.

On CBS, veteran “Big Brother” remains on the downside this season, with a 2.9/ 5 in households in the 8 p.m. hour down 19 percent from the 3.6/ 7 on the year-ago evening. As always, however, this is a personal addiction for me!

Also on the Eye net were 9-11 p.m. dramas “Instinct” (#2: 2.8/ 5 at 9 p.m.) and “The Good Fight” (#2: 2.4/ 5), which are season one telecasts of the CBS All Access occupant.

Elsewhere, mock talk show “Just What Happened??! with Fred Savage” on Fox (#4: 0.6/ 1 at 9:30 p.m.) and CW drama “Burden of Truth” (#5: 0.4/ 1 at 8 p.m.) was the only other originals. The remainder of this second July Sunday were repeats as follows:
