Ratings Breakdown:
CBS topped this holiday Sunday in the household overnights, with 8-10 p.m. ET musical special “Motown 60: A Grammy Celebration” (#1: 5.1 rating/9 share) besting competing “American Idol” on ABC (4.1/ 8) and “World of Dance” on NBC (2.2/ 4) by 24 percent and 132 percent respectively. And that led into on-the-fence CBS political drama “Madam Secretary” (#1: 3.6/ 7) leading the 10 p.m. hour, with an advantage over competing “Shark Tank” on ABC (2.6/ 5) and already renewed “Good Girls” on NBC (1.7/ 3) by 38 percent and 112 percent, respectively. The renewal for “Good Girls” is a result of the interest in the one-hour dramedy on Netflix.
