Ratings Breakdown:
It was a Sunday household overnight sweep for CBS, which featured granddaddy “60 Minutes” (#1: for the night: 7.3 rating/14 share at 8 p.m.) and “The 54th Academy of Country Music Awards” (6.2/11 from 8-11 p.m.).

In the Sunday 8-10 p.m. battle of “American Idol” on ABC (#2: 4.0/ 7) and “World of Dance” on NBC (2.5/ 4), “American Idol’s” advantage in the overnight households this week was 60 percent. But, year-to-year, “Idol” slipped by 13 percent (versus a 4.6/ 8 on 4/08/18).

At 10 p.m., ABC’s “Shark Tank” finished a distant second behind “The Academy of Country Music Awards” with a 2.5/ 5 in the household overnights. Comparably, that was down by 40 percent from the 9:30 p.m. portion of “American Idol” (4.2/ 7). But it was 39 percent above competing “Good Girls” on NBC (1.8/ 3).

Earlier in the evening on ABC was veteran “America’s Funniest Home Videos” at a second-place 3.3/ 4 at 7 p.m.
