It was a typical Sunday in these fast affiliate ratings, with CBS first in total viewers and “American Idol” leading ABC to victory in adults 18-49. The music extravaganza averaged 4.85 million viewers (#2) and a 0.6 rating/5 share in adults 18-49 (#1) from 8-10 p.m., and CBS performed as follows:

Viewers: 5.09 million (#1); A18-49: 0.4/ 3 (#2)

10:00 p.m. “S.W.A.T.”
Viewers: 4.03 million (#1); A18-49: 0.4/ 4 (#1t)

“American Idol” led out of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” (Viewers: #2, 4.48 million; A18-49: #1, 0.6/ 6 at 7 p.m.) and into crime drama “The Rookie” (Viewers: #2, 3.55 million; A18-49: #1t, 0.4/ 3 at 10 p.m.). 

Elsewhere, NBC populated the Sunday 7-9 p.m. ET block with “American Ninja Warrior” (Viewers: #3, 1.60 million; A18-49: #3t, 0.3/ 2 from 7-9 p.m.). It led into an encore telecast of the “SNL: Mother’s Day” special from 9-11 p.m.

The CW featured “Riverdale” (Viewers: #5, 199,000; A18-49: #5, 0.1/ 0 at 9 p.m.) into two repeats of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” And Fox was basically off the fast affiliate charts with its animated block as follows:
