Sunday Ratings: Football Ignites NBC and CBS; ABC, Fox and The CW Cannot Compete

NBC: 3.2 rating/20 share, CBS: 1.9/12, ABC and Fox: 0.4/ 3 each, CW: 0.0/ 1

NBC, of course, led the Sunday troops care of the NFL, with the Pittsburgh Steelers (23) / Seattle Seahawks (20) match-up at an estimated 12.72 million viewers and a 2.4 rating/15 share in adults 18-49 in primetime. Earlier in the night on NBC was the pre-game. As a reminder, these fast affiliate (time period based) results are always approximate for any living sporting event.

CBS also benefited care of football, with an approximate one-hour primetime overrun (Viewers: 21.96 million; A18-49: 5.2/32 at 7 p.m.) leading into the regularly scheduled Sunday night line-up. All results, of course, are estimated.

Needless to say, both finished a distant fifth in their respective time periods.
