The closing ceremony for the 2022 Winter Olympics on NBC ended with a whimper at 5.04 million viewers (#1) and a 0.7 rating/5 share (#1) in the Sunday 8-10:30 p.m. ET block. That led into the preview of “America’s Got Talent” spin-off “America’s Got Talent: Extreme” at just 2.41 million viewers (#1) and a 0.3/ 3 in the demo (#1t) in the 10:30 p.m. ET half-hour.

On ABC, 2021 film “Summer of Soul (…Or When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised)” was virtually off the charts at 1.54 million viewers (#3) and a 0.1/ 1 in adults 18-49 from 8-10:30 p.m.

Elsewhere, two episodes of anthology series “Two Sentence Horror Stories” averaged 241,000 (#5) and a 0.1/ 0 in the demo (#5) from 9-10 p.m. And the remainder of the evening were repeats.
