Supernatural Crime Drama Procedural Based on the Life of Medium Tina Powers in the Works at Fox

Tina Powers is a former news anchor and reporter at the CBS affiliated station in Arizona who now works as a professional medium.

Fox is developing a crime drama procedural for 2021 based on the true-life experiences of Tina Powers, a former news anchor and reporter at the CBS affiliated station in Arizona who now works as a professional medium. The potential scripted series comes from Michael Alaimo (“Fear the Walking Dead”), Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment and Tracy Katsky’s KatCo. Written by Alaimo, the potential untitled series is described as a “breezy procedural, in which a quirky TV news crime reporter starts listening to the voices she hears from beyond the grave in order to help Miami’s finest solve crimes.”

Alaimo will executive produce with Kaplan and Dana Honor for Kapital Entertainment and Katsky for KatCo. Powers and Jenni Pulos also executive produce.
