Syfy Pulls the Plug on Space Drama ‘Vagrant Queen’

Ten Episodes Were Produced

Syfy has opted against a second season of space drama “Vagrant Queen,” the live-action adaptation of the Vault Comics series from Blue Ice Pictures. Debuting in March, the series focused on Adriyan Rae as Elida, a scavenger and outlaw, who is forced to return to her broken kingdom after news about her long-lost mother arises before a deadly childhood foe, Commander Lazaro (Paul du Toit), finds them.

“Vagrant Queen” was co-created by Eisner and GLAAD Media Award-nominated writer Magdalene Visaggio and artist Jason Smith and published by Vault Comics. Ten episodes in total were produced.

  1. Syfy would be better off shutting down. They have no audience, no shows. They have nothing. Their two remaining shows Van Helsing(Ending after the upcoming season) & Wynonna Earp(Parent company has serious financial issues) never really attracted any sort of audience. NBCUniversal should cut their losses and let this network fade away.
