Syfy Renews ‘The Magicians’ for Season 4

13 New Episodes Ordered

Syfy has issued a fourth season renewal to scripted drama “The Magicians,” with an order for 13 new episodes. Based on Lev Grossman’s best-selling novels and debuting on Dec. 16, 2015, the fantasy series focuses on Quentin Coldwater (Jason Ralph) and his friends as they discover their magical abilities, while facing off against evil creatures who seek to destroy the magical world they’ve come to know.

The third season, which currently airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Syfy and concludes on March 28, finds the group embarking on the epic quest of the seven keys in order to restore the magic that was turned off at the conclusion of season 2.
