Syfy Wire Acquires Docuseries ‘Looking for Leia’

7 Episodes, Each 10 to 15 Minutes in Length, Will Be Featured

Syfy will offer all seven episodes of short-form “Star Wars”-themed docuseries “Looking for Leia” for its linear and digital platforms. From independent filmmaker Annalise Ophelian and her production company Floating Ophelia, each 10 to 15 minute installment tells the stories of women as well as non-binary fans who have been forever changed by the “Star Wars” franchise.

It makes its multiplatform debut on Saturday, December 21.
