The Cast of ‘The Facts of Life’ Reunites for Lifetime Holiday Movie

Four of the original stars of NBC 1980s sitcom “The Facts of Life” — Lisa Whelchel (Blair), Kim Fields (“Tootie”), Mindy Cohn (Natalie) and Nancy McKeon (Jo) — are reuniting (outside of their original characters) in original Lifetime holiday movie “Light Up My Christmas.”  

Based on a true story, the movie tells the story of Emma (Fields), a woman who helps remind her hometown about the importance of embracing the holidays spirit. Tt was the idea of Fields, the film’s star and executive producer, to invite her former cast members from the iconic 80s sitcom to star alongside her.

“You Light Up My Christmas” will premiere Sunday, December 1 on Lifetime as part of the channel’s annual holiday themed programming, “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime,” which airs Oct. 25 through Dec. 25. The marathon features 30 holiday movie premieres.

“We truly are a family so it was great to work together on something new!,” said Fields to PEOPLE.
