The CW has opted against a fourth season of “Batwoman.” Showrunner Caroline Dries revealed the news on social media, saying she was “bummed, but full of gratitude”.
Debuting in 2019, “Batwoman” initially featured Ruby Rose as the superhero, who exited after just one season, citing unsafe working conditions and issues with her co-star Diugray Scott. Javicia Leslie was then brought in as a new character in season two. “Batwoman” also featured Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Nicole Kang, Camrus Johnson, Victoria Cartagena, Robin Givens, and Nick Creegan.
A total of 51 episodes of “Batwoman” were produced.
