The CW to Reboot Drama ‘The 4400’

Series is a Reimaging of the Former USA Network Series

The CW has given a straight-to-series order to drama “The 4400”, which is a reimaging of the 2004 USA Network series. It hails from “Riverdale”  co-executive producer Ariana Jackson and Anna Fricke, who recently rebooted “Walker, Texas Ranger” as “Walker” for the CW.

Like the original, this new version of “The 4400” will focus on 4,400 overlooked, undervalued and marginalized people who disappeared over the past 100 years who are all returned in an instant, having not aged at all and with no idea what happened. They also discover they’ve been returned with upgrades, and likely for a specific purpose. CBS Studios, which was also behind the original, is producing the series.
