“Criminal Minds” star Thomas Gibson will be suspended from at least one – and likely two – episodes of the long-running CBS crime solver after a physical altercation with a writer-producer on the set. Gibson reportedly kicked co-executive producer Virgil Williams after a disagreement. Years ago, Gibson allegedly pushed assistant director Ian Woolf and had to attend anger management classes.

“There were creative differences on the set and a disagreement. I regret that it occurred,” Gibson, 54, said in a statement. “We all want to work together as a team to make the best show possible. We always have and we always will.”

“Criminal Minds” will return for Season 12 on CBS on Wednesday, September 28.
