‘Three’s Company’ Cast Reflects Upon 40 Years of Their Classic Sitcom

March 15, 2017 exactly marks 40 years since the launch of the classic TV sitcom “Three’s Company.” The series, based on the 70’s British comedy “Man About The House,” ran from 1977-1984 on ABC and was the No. 1 show on U.S. television for the 1978-79 season.

“Three’s Company” starred John Ritter (Jack Tripper), Joyce DeWitt (Janet Wood), Suzanne Somers (Chrissy Snow), Norman Fell (Stanley Roper) and Audra Lindley (Helen Roper). Other stars included Richard Kline (Larry Dallas), Don Knotts (Ralph Furley), Jenilee Harrison (Cindy Snow), and Priscilla Barnes (Terri Alden).

On March 11-12, Tribune’s digital channel Antenna TV commemorated the sitcom’s anniversary with a weekend-long marathon of the show’s classic episodes. During some commercial breaks, the channel would feature clips of a recent discussion among some of the sitcom’s cast — Kline, DeWitt, Barnes and Harrison — remembering their time on the show and with each other, especially with the late John Ritter.

Video of the entire “Three’s Company” chat, hosted by New York PIX-11 news anchor Tamsen Fadal, can be seen here:

The cable network Logo also scheduled an all-day marathon of “Three’s Company” on Wednesday, Mar. 15.
