  1. I grew to enjoy Abby’s although certainly never thought it would be renewed or thought it deserved to be. It was much better than its pilot episode.

    • I agree Louis, Abby’s got way better as a series creatively as the cast is gelling now and the storylines are better now too. I never really expected it to be renewed or rate well either. It’s on a dead network for comedies so until the network changes its comedy culture comedies like Abby’s will never have a chance to succeed and it’s a damn shame.

I’m scared for Indebted with Fran Drescher next season because this has the recipe of being a huge hit comedy for NBC but I know they’re going to schedule it behind dead lead-ins so the NBC comedy struggle will continue.

      • That is exactly what will happen…NBC will schedule it in between incredibly low rated comedies and it will get buried.

        • Yep exactly they’ll make the same mistake and it’s a shame because at some point if you’re NBC you’re going to have to do like my Toronto Raptors did in the past 2 years and that’s do a cultural reset of the franchise.

NBC needs to put an end to the niche single-cam era next May and do a bloodbath like FOX did last year and start back with mass-appealing multi-cam comedies. You have the Summer Olympics next summer to promote them too.
