    NBC MATCHES THE NIGHT’S BIG 4 COMPETITION COMBINED IN 18-49

    THE TWO-HOUR SPECIAL GROWS +100% FROM ITS FIRST HALF-HOUR TO ITS FOURTH IN 18-49 AND BY +4.6 MILLION PERSONS IN TOTAL VIEWERS

    Thursday Primetime Results:

    NBC dominates primetime, with the “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks® Spectacular” and the 10 p.m. “Macy’s” recap giving NBC convincing primetime wins among the Big 4 networks in every key ratings measure. For the night, NBC equaled the other Big 4 networks combined in adults 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.3 each for ABC, CBS and Fox).

    The 8-10 p.m. special and the 10-11 p.m. encore are the night’s #1-2 shows on the Big 4 networks in all key ratings categories.

    NOTE: There were preemptions for local fireworks coverage on each of the Big 4 networks.

    “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks® Spectacular” (0.9 rating in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):

    · Is close to rounding up to a 1.0 in 18-49 rating (currently reporting a 0.94 in these preliminary fast-affiliate results).

    · Triples the #2 network among the Big 4 in the timeslot in 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.3 each for ABC, CBS and Fox) and doubles the #2 network in total viewers with a margin of +3.0 million persons (5.889 million vs. 2.931 million for CBS’ #2 encore comedies

    · Is the #1 show of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 , total viewers and all other key measures.

    · Increases by +100% from its first half-hour to its fourth in 18-49 rating (0.7 to 1.4) and +107% or +4.6 million persons in total viewers (4.3 million vs. 8.9 million).

    · The year-ago Wednesday “Macy’s” special averaged a 1.2 in 18-49, the show’s second-best rating in five years, and 7.405 million viewers overall, making last year’s telecast the most-watched in six years. Note the adult 18-49 “PUT” level of viewership on this Thursday July 4 is down -17% versus last year’s Wednesday viewership level.

    A recap telecast of “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” (0.8 rating in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):

    · In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” 0.4/3 with an encore; “Late Show,” 0.2/2 with an encore; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.3/2 with an encore.

    · From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC’s “Nightline,” averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

    · From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS’s “Late Late Show,” 0.8/3 with an encore.     DIGITAL & LINEAR DELAYED VIEWING FOR “THE INBETWEEN” IS DOUBLING ITS 18-49 RATING & ADDING +2.2 MILLION VIEWERS OVERALL

    Wednesday Primetime Results:

    An encore “Ellen’s Game of Games” (0.5 rating in 18-49, 2.8 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):

    · Ties as the #2 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

    · The prelim 2.758 million for Wednesday’s “Game of Games” encore combines with the episode’s Jan. 29 original run (7.047 million) and a March 24 encore (2.110 million) for a total of 11.915 million viewers.

    A 9 p.m. rebroadcast of “Songland” (0.4 rating in 18-49, 1.7 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET):

    · Ties for #1 in the timeslot in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, women 18-49 and women 25-54 versus competition that included CBS’ original “NCIS: The Cases They Can’t Forget.”

    · The prelim 1.685 million for Wednesday’s “Songland” encore combines with the episode’s May 28 original run (5.512 million) and a June 1 encore (1.468 million) for a total of 8.665 million viewers.

    “The InBetween” (0.3 rating in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):

    · Ties for #1 in the timeslot among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34 and men 18-49.

    · Will add significant viewership via linear and non-linear delayed viewing — after just seven days of linear and digital delayed viewing, “The InBetween” is doubling in adults 18-49 and adding +2.2 million viewers overall to its next-day “live plus same day” results, increasing to a 1.04 rating in 18-49 and 5.6 million viewers overall.

    In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night:
