HBO horror anthology “Tales From the Crypt” debuted in 1989. It aired for seven seasons, producing 93 episodes…Surrealistic serialized drama “Twin Peaks” concluded on ABC in 1991 after a two season (and 30-episode) run. It was revived as a miniseries on Showtime in 2017.

Syndicated talker “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” premiered in 1996. Although it lasted just six seasons, it became an instant daytime hit, earning five Emmys for Outstanding Talk Show throughout its run…The Sopranos” ended its Emmy-award winning six season run on HBO in 2007 with the infamous “cut to black” ending.

James Bond film “Octopussy,” starring Roger Moore, was released in theaters in 1983…Action classic “Speed” starring Keanu Reeves and Dennis Hopper opened in 1994.
