Television:
The final episode of short-lived comedy/interview series “Tell It to Groucho” aired on CBS in 1962 with comedian Groucho Marx. It was the successor Groucho’s more successful “You Bet Your Life”…NBC comedy “Seinfeld, starring Jerry Seinfeld, debuted as a regularly scheduled series in 1990…NBC’s “Night Court” concluded its nine season run in 1992. The current sequel to “Night Court” in development at NBC from “The Big Bang Theory’s” Melissa Rauch has not been picked up to series yet.

Oscar winner Clint Eastwood is 91; football legend Joe Namath is 78; Emmy Award winner Sharpn Gless (“Cagney & Lacey”) is also 78; “Caroline in the City” star Lea Thompson is 56; actress Brooke Shields (“Suddenly Susan”) is also 56; “The Amazing Race” host Phil Keoghan is 54; Colin Farrell (“Phone Booth”) is 45; Eric Christian Olsen (“NCIS: Los Angeles”) is also 45.

-Did You Know?:
“Seinfeld” is only one of three series historically to rank first overall in all of primetime in its final season. The other two are “I Love Lucy” and “The Andy Griffith Show”…In its peak (airing following “Cheers” on Thursday),“Night Court” finished 7th overall in all of primetime from 1986 to 1988.
