Sacha Baron Cohen’s mockumentary “Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan” premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2006. Cohen plays the leading role of Borat Sagdivev, a fictional Kazakhstani journalist who travels through the United States to make a documentary which features real-life interactions with Americans.

Julie Kavner, who is also remembered as Rhoda’s sister Brenda, won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” spin-off “Rhoda” in 1978. Talks were immediately underway to spin-off Kavner’s character of Brenda after “Rhoda” debuted, but it never surfaced. Her second Emmy was in 1992 for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance for animated “The Simpsons.”
