CBS drama “2000 Malibu Road,” starring Drew BarrymoreJennifer BealsBrian Bloom and Lisa Hartman, began its six episode run on CBS in 1992…“Fear The Walking Dead, the prequel to “The Walking Dead,” opened on AMC in 2015…A total of 51.7 million viewers tuned in to see Richard Hatch win $1 million on the season one finale of “Survivor” on CBS in 2000…The 2008 Summer Olympics came to a close in Beijing, China on NBC.

“You Can’t Take It With You” from the play by George S. Kaufman, directed by Frank Capra and starring James Stewart and Jean Arthur opened in theaters in 1938. It was nominated for seven Academy Awards and won two: Best Picture and Best Director…“The Big Sleep” directed Howard Hawks and starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall opened in 1946.

Richard Hatch was convicted in 2006 of failing to pay taxes on the $1 million he won on the first season of “Survivor.  As a result of these convictions, he served three years in prison in a minimum-security prison in Morgantown, West Virginia…Barbara Eden was featured as Diana, the sexy blond who turns a lot of heads at a gathering, in a season six episode of “I Love Lucy” called “Country Club Dance.” But yes!
