The original version of the classic game show “The Price Is Right” debuted on NBC in daytime in 1956. Hosted by Bill Cullen, it eventually moved to ABC and ended in 1965. “The Price Is Right” returned on CBS on Sept. 4, 1972, with Bob Barker, who remained host until his retirement on June 15, 2007. Drew Carey’s premiere as host was on Oct. 15, 2017…“America’s Funniest Home Videos” first aired as a special on ABC in 1989. The show, initially hosted by “Full House” star Bob Saget, debuted as a regular weekly series on January 14, 1990 and shows no signs of ending anytime soon.

In his first presidential proclamation, George Washington designated November 26 in 1789 as a Day of National Thanksgiving. The next president to issue a Thanksgiving Proclamation was Abraham Lincoln, who in 1863, also designated November 26.
