truTV Renews ‘Billy on the Street;’ Adds Episodes to ‘Adam Ruins Everything’

Announcements Made at the Winter Press Tour in Pasadena

truTV has picked up comedy quiz show “Billy on the Street for a fifth season, with an order for 10 new episodes. Comedian Billy Eichner will surprise more unsuspecting pedestrians with quick-witted, rapid-fire questions on pop-culture on the streets of New York City. And the cable net has ordered an unspecified number of new episodes for season one of investigative comedy “Adam Ruins Everything.” Both series launched under truTV’s recent comedic re-branding.

In addition, truTV has placed a pilot order with production company Big Breakfast for a potential series called “No Dumb Questions (working title.)” The scoop: Led by host Emily Axford, a team of comedy journalists poses the questions you didn’t think to ask, but once you hear them, you have to know the answers. If you’ve ever wondered if you could flush a whole chocolate cake down a toilet, “No Dumb Questions” is for you.”
